Bats.

We were sitting outside this evening, watching the bats skimming the area, clearing away a few insects.  I pointed one out to Kyle, "It's like a little flying mouse", I said.  He looked at me with a strained expression and said, "How did she do that, did she buy some wings?"  Great image!

Hoody.

We went out for a little walk this evening, just around the block and stopped off for a drink.  It is getting cooler, so dad had on his wooly hat and we asked Kyle if he wanted his hood up.  "No, I don't need my 'head coat' on", was his reply.  Elena tried to coax him to speak to her in Slovak a little bit, but he just told her "Don't speak that 'other English', mummy!"  Kids can be one minute so cute and yet a moment later so maddening.  Fortunately our little stroll conked him out and off he went to bed.

Here is a little Abstract collaborative work, between Kyle and a commercial artist friend of his who wishes to remain nameless for professional reasons.  He said, "I'm not signing it, cos then it would be worth money".  We think it's priceless, we may even frame it!
