Not really a Kyloism, just that I’m so proud I thought I’d publish it. Today is the first day I heard Kyle read a book from cover to cover. Only Goldilocks and the three bears, but I was still impressed! He’s so pleased with himself that he just wants to keep on reading more and more now. Long may it last!

Soft furnishings
Kylo tends to refer to his beloved pillow as his 'cushion'. We've tried to point out the difference between bedroom and lounge furnishings, but to him they're all one and the same; cushions. Elena was telling him the other day, that pillows are what we find upstairs, while cushions are downstairs. He tends to love his 'cushion' and snuggle up to it anywhere as a sort of comforter, so the other evening as he was settling in bed he said, very sweetly and politely, "Mummy, would you get my cushion for me please?" "Pillow", said Elena. Kyle replied, "No mummy, it's downstairs, so it's a cushion!" Funny, but very sweet!

Ruined
After a shouting tantrum, Elena was left with very little choice but to resort to a smacked bum. Kyle’s response was, “Mum, you’ve ruined my world!” I’m not sure exactly where he got this from, but I suppose we got the gist of what he meant!

Moon
Walking along the coastal footpath at Amathous, Kyle seemed a bit preoccupied with the moon in the southwestern sky. After a few minutes he stopped in his tracks, a serious look on his face and exclaimed, "Why does the moon keep following us?" I'm sure I've wondered the very same thing on a number of occasions, but always been embarrassed to ask!
